Dussehra Celebration
Celebrating festivals is an integral part of learning. Through such celebrations, students not only learn the significance behind the festivals, but they also learn to embrace traditions and cultures.
Celebrations bring the school community together and strengthen the bonding between the students. Keeping the same in view, S. D. Vidya Mandir, HUDA, initiate to celebrate such festivals. Dussehra is an important Indian festival celebrated on the Shukla Dashmi of Ashwin month according to Hindu Calendar. To celebrate the victory of good over evil a special assembly was conducted on 14 October 2021 in school premises to mark the importance of this day. The event became more enlightening with the presence of the worthy management. The program started with a melodious bhajan dedicated to ‘Lord Hanumana’ followed by a mesmerizing dance performance showcasing Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. Students of our school enthralled the entire audience with their performance. The celebration ended with prasad distribution.
